ADAMS COUNTY
SHERIFF'S OFFICE
NATCHEZ, MISSISSIPPI

N.A.R.C./H.E.A.T.

Metro Narcotics was created in 1987 in an effort to combat the growing number of drug cases in Adams County.  Set up to employ the services of members from both the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the Natchez Police Department, Metro’s seven-person team currently includes four ACSO deputies (including the unit’s commander.)

Today, Metro’s objective is to work toward eliminating drugs surfacing in Adams County. Agents associated with Metro Narcotics work in capacities that allow them to go undercover, patrol the county, confiscate drugs, money and weapons from drug dealers and organize and participate in raids.
