On February 25, 2022 Merit Health medical personnel notified the Adams County Sheriff’s Office of a potential rape victim. Deputies responded and were able to identify the suspect as Trevor Nathaniel Posey (W/M 07/09/1998) of Natchez. Investigators obtained an arrest warrant and later arrested Trevor near his residence in Plantation Trailer Park for rape with intent to ravish.
