PRESS RELEASE
October 27, 2016
At approximately 11:00 this morning ACSO was called about a four wheeler parked under the Natchez Trace overpass in Greenfield Subdivision. An observant resident was going to visit her son and noticed a red Honda Rancher four-wheeler parked on the roadway in the grass. The deputy ran the VIN with negative results. Our investigator contacted Great River Honda to determine the identification of the owner. The owner was contacted and said he works out of town and was unaware that his four-wheeler had been stolen. When the owner had someone check his residence, he discovered that both his four-wheelers were gone. Still missing is a 2013 Honda 420 red in color. Thanks to this alert citizen one of the four-wheelers was recovered before it was reported missing. “This is the kind of cooperation we strive to get from all our citizens” Sheriff Patten said.
