Miss Rodeo America, Page Nicholson, a Mississippi native, opened the rodeo. Bareback riders, bull riders, barrel racers, ropers and Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey and World Champion Barrel Clown Rudy Burns kept the crowds entertained for over 2 hours--the fun and danger culminating with man against beast when the champion bullfighters went horn to hand with Mexican fighting bulls.
